"Beta" simply refers to those KGS web services which are in a phase of development where the services are available to the public, and are close to full release, but are still being evaluated, improved, and changed.

During this phase, users may find these "beta" services experience downtime, change drastically, and data may not be available at all times. We welcome any comments and/or suggestions about these beta services (or any of our services), and how KGS may improve them to best serve the public.
