Information CD

This CD is a compilation of information that comes out of requirements of the federal Safe Drinking Water Act and Kentucky’s Water Management Planning statues (401 KAR 4:220). The information is being delivered in a web-browser format, making it relatively easy to find what you are looking for. There is considerable basic information about requirements and condition of drinking water permits and supplies. But it also includes maps, reports, summaries of potential contaminant threats, and protection recommendations for all public surface drinking water supplies. [Information about groundwater supplies is available by calling, but will be added to our web site at a later date.]

Some links on this CD go to web sites on the Intranet; so, for the best utilization of the information on this CD, we recommend you use it while connected to the Internet. If after searching through all the web links you still need more detail or need the information presented in a different way, you can open the CD to access additional GIS coverages and the source water protection database, giving you full analytical capabilities.
